Practice Nurse


 We currently have a vacancy for an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our Nursing Team.  You should be competent in core duties such as general treatment room skills, including immunisations and cervical screening and ideally have experience of chronic disease management (COPD/asthma/diabetes) although the opportunity for further training could be arranged for the successful candidate. Receptionist


We are also looking for a part-time receptionist to join our busy team. The hours will be Monday 8am to 2pm, Thursday 8am to 2pm and Friday 8am to 2pm with additional sickness and holiday cover when required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be hardworking, reliable and able to work on their own initiative, as well as a team player. Contraception / Sexual Health Clinic for young people

Here at Claremont Medical Centre we hope to provide a Young Person friendly service that caters directly for your needs. We offer a wide range of FREE Health Services for Young People as listed below;

  • Contraceptive Advice Young_People_Services
  • Contraceptive Pill and pill checks
  • Hormonal Implants (Depo Provera & Nexplanon)
  • IUDs / Coils
  • Emergency Contraception
  • Free Condoms Service
  • Chlamydia Screening
  • Needle Exchange
  • Stop Smoking advice
  • Alcohol advice
  • Weight management
  • Counselling

 

All these services are funded by the NHS and are free of charge to you.

Some of the services above will include you being given a prescription which can be taken to a local pharmacist and exchanged for the appropriate medication.

If you want to find out more about any of the services listed please just ask at reception or make an appointment to speak to a doctor or nurse.
