DOCTORLINK - FOR ADVICE AND APPOINTMENTS
Claremont Medical Centre would like to invite you to join DoctorLink. This is our new online service where you can access advice and appointments online.
Registration is simple and you can register here.
For all appointments, we ask that you undertake a symptom assessment through DoctorLink. The symptom checker will ask you a number of questions to help identify your problem. The outcome of your assessment will direct you to the right treatment, whether emergency care, your GP, nurse or self care.. If your outcome indicates that an appointment is required, you simply click on the request appointment link. Once the request has been submitted, you will then be contacted by the Practice Team to arrange an appointment. The information you provide will be shared with our clinical team (where appropriate) and will assist in providing robust information of your problem to the required clinical team member prior to your appointment.

Claremont Medical Centre
We are a medium sized NHS training practice located in the heart of Surbiton, just behind the train station. We have a wide ranging clinical team including eight GPs, two Practice Nurses, two Healthcare Assistants and two Phlebotomists. Together with the rest of the team we will endeavour to provide you with a patient centred, friendly approach to meeting your needs. The practice takes new patients from the Surbiton area.
We provide the full range of primary care services including GP services, practice nursing and district nursing. We also have close links with the Health Visiting Service and the Midwifery Service based at the new Surbiton Health Centre on Ewell Road.
Access & Parking
There is good wheelchair access in the building and a lift to the first floor consulting rooms. There are fully automatic doors that operate on a sensor basis to assist those patients who are disabled/wheelchair bound or those with buggies. There is a portable induction loop available at reception to assist patients who wear a hearing aid. Guide dogs are permitted throughout the premises.
There is limited parking space in the courtyard behind the main building and a dedicated disabled space next to the main entrance. Please do not double park in the car park as you may prevent patients and staff from leaving when needed. The Sainsbury’s car park is just round the corner. We encourage staff and patients to walk or come by bicycle whenever possible.
As with all NHS premises, we operate a strict No Smoking policy on our premises which applies to patients and staff alike.
Claremont Medical Centre is a training practice for GP Registrars.
A GP Registrar is a fully qualified, experienced doctor who is completing a further 3 years specialist training in order to become a GP.
GP Registrars will work as part of the practice team and have daily surgeries (often with longer appointment times), undertake home visits and help with on-call doctor duties. Their placements with us vary in length, depending on their stage of training, from 4 months to over 12 months. They are supervised and assessed on a regular basis. Patients may, on occasion, be asked whether they mind having their consultation videoed "video consultation" for assessment purposes and/or to complete patient satisfaction questionnaires. These videos and assessments will always remain confidential and are strictly used only for the GP Registrar to be assessed by their GP Trainer.
