Change to Online appointment requests

You will now be able to request either a routine GP appointment or an urgent GP appointment. All appointment requests will be triaged by a GP and if deemed urgent, it is our policy that you will be seen as soon as possible. It is therefore important that you do not request an urgent appointment unless it is necessary.

Chaperones

At Claremont Medical Centre we will always respect your privacy, dignity and your religious and cultural beliefs, particularly when intimate examinations are advisable, these will only be carried out with your consent, and you will be offered a chaperone to attend the examination if you so wish. The role of the chaperone is to provide you with physical and emotional support and reassurance, and to respect your dignity and confidentiality. They are also there to reassure you if you feel discomfort or distressed.
